Volunteering
We offer opportunities to volunteers. You may wish to gain work experience in a legal/office environment – or you may like to give us the benefit of your experience. Whichever is the case, volunteering will give you an opportunity to contribute to the local community. You will be made very welcome and you will work in a friendly and supportive environment.
Reception and admin volunteers assist our staff in providing a friendly and efficient service to members of the public. Typical tasks involve greeting people who come into the Centre, answering incoming phone calls, booking appointments and helping with other administrative tasks such as filing, routine letters and inputting client information on the computer.
Volunteer advisers - You can make a big contribution to the local community by becoming a volunteer adviser. We will provide you with training and support you develop the skills you need. For this role, volunteers are normally expected to be available for 10 hours per week for a period of at least 1 year. However, if you already have experience in this area a shorter time commitment is negotiable.
Your guidance, help and kindness have been amazing.
