Help for people in fuel poverty

Under our new ‘Money and Power’ project starting in September 2019, we will be offering help and support to people who can’t afford to top up pre-payment meters or pay fuel bills.

Support will include a grant to top up pre-payment meters in an emergency, as well as benefits and debt advice to increase the money coming into the household, and a referral for energy advice to reduce fuel costs and make bills more affordable in future. The project aims to reduce fuel poverty on the Leys, and is funded by the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme, administered by the Energy Saving Trust.
